Join us Saturday evening with your best dressed skeleton for Day of the Dead, made famous by the artist Jose Guadalupe Posada. There will be a Catrin & Catrina Contest! A vibrant atmosphere filled with captivating music, community altar and a paint night event! Mouthwatering food by New York Chef, Jonathan Zuniga! Your favorite spirits of wine and sweet desserts will tantalize your palate! Day of the Dead art, dancing and meeting a great group of people! Bring a photo of your loved one for the altar. The drawing class is designed to teach basic elements of line, shape, space, light and shadow. Most subjects will be drawn from photographs, still life or objects. Great class for all drawing levels. Each session you will take home a beautiful art piece.

The watercolor class is designed to teach students of all levels various watercolor painting techniques. We will discuss materials: brushes, paper, masking etc. Various watercolor techniques will be demonstrated and practiced. Great class for all watercolor levels. Baby and Me is a weekly class for parents & baby. Designed for mothers, fathers, caregivers, and babies from newborn to 2 years of age that allow mothers & fathers and babies experience ART in a fun and creative environment. The art studio is designed to hold space for children to use their sences, self awareness of touch and sound, interact with other families and create a foundation for a lifelong love of learning. The art studio at the Neighborhood Hive offers a great opportunity to create community, meet other moms & dads, share experiences and create art together.

The art studio cultivates creativity and inspires children! Our after-school program is dedicated to guiding elementary age children towards expression, learning new ways of visual expression, and expanding into their imagination. The art studioi is a safe, comfortable, and inspiring environment in which children Kindergarten through 6th grade receive visual art instruction in varios mediums including, painting, pastel, chalk, drawing, sculpture, pottery, animation and more. The art studio at the Nieghborhood Hive offers a great opportunity to create community, meet other children & families, share experiences, and create art together! Please drop off children after school or let us know if your child will be walking to the art studio from school. Please pick up children by 5:00 pm.

Scholarships available for families in need. YOU are Be-YOU-tiful!!! This workshop is designed for girls from the ages of 10-12. To build their confidence and self-esteem. This is a 7-workshop series, we will discuss: social media safety, body image, healthy choices & hygiene, expressing feelings, stress management techniques, mindfulness & growth mindset. Young girls will learn how to set healthy bouondaries and gain the confidence to succeed! Girls will gain strategies for overcoming obstacles and using their voice to express what they feel and ask for what they want. Girls are an amazing force, and we strive to empower our youth to maximize their potential, tap into their self worth and transform their vision and self-confidence. This is designed to be an interactive workshop featuring art, activities, music, and group participation. Books provided by King's English Bookshop.
